Karl Ludwig Ackermann
Associate Professor at the Steinbeis University, Berlin
Dr. Karl Ludwig Ackermann is a specialist in oral surgery. He currently operates a joint private practice in Filderstadt with Dr. Axel Kirsch. Since 1980 his clinical and research work has focused on implantology, with specialization in oral rehabilitation, periodontology, implant prosthetics and preprosthetic surgery.
He is a member of the executive board of the DGI and a specialist in periodontics of the European Dental Association (EDA).
He holds a teaching post at the Academy of Practice and Science (APW) of the German Society of Dental, Oral and Craniomandibular Sciences (DGZMK) and also lectures in the implant-prosthetics and perio-prosthetics program at the Charité
Hospital of the Humboldt University Berlin. He is a visiting lecturer at the Oral Surgery Clinic of the University Hospital Ulm and a guest professor at the Nippon Dental University Niigata. Since May 2005 he has been an associate professor at the Steinbeis University Berlin. He lectures internationally and has published in all his areas of specialization.
